Admission Guidelines
ADMISSION
GUIDELINES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026-2027
Instructions:
Read and understand the following guidelines for the College Online Admission
for First Semester AY 2026 – 2027 before proceeding to the application page of
the admission portal.
1) All applications will be
through the Admission Portal. No documentary requirements will be sent to the
admissions email.
2) All documentary requirements must be uploaded in the Admission
Portal in JPEG file format. The files should be in clear resolution, and the
document/s written information must be readable with no erasures.
3) The uploaded documentary requirements are for admission screening
purposes only. Original hard copies of these documents will be submitted to the
campus once you are qualified to enroll.
4) The picture must be recent, colored, formal, and unfiltered or
raw, with a white background and name tag. No selfie picture.
5) Documents must be uploaded with the correct file name following
this format: name of file_family name (e.g., Grade12 Report Card_Santos).
6) Multiple applications are not allowed and are subject to
disqualification. There should only be one (1) admission application across all
CTU campuses. Application is transferrable to other programs or CTU campuses
upon disqualification status.
7) The email account of the applicant must be active and
accessible. Application notification will be sent through email. Check
your inbox/spam/all folders for the email notification.
8) All entries in the application should be correctly spelled. Do not
leave any blank information. Review the application. Once submitted, the
application is considered final and could no longer be edited.
9) Misrepresentation,
falsification of documents and any form of dishonesty committed in relation to
admission application shall be ground for disqualification from admission to
the university and will be blocked from applying in all campuses.

Eligibility Requirement for College Admission
New applicants for college admission in the
university must be any of the following:
- Senior high school graduating students for
AY 2025 – 2026
- Senior high school graduates who did not
enroll yet in any tertiary or vocational programs
- Transferee students from other HEIs or
universities
- Foreign students
- Alternative Learning System (ALS) Passers
- Graduates of Old Secondary Curriculum who
did not enroll yet in any tertiary or vocational programs
- Second courser
II. Admission Grade Requirements
Each program offering has a set of admission
grade requirements that the applicants must comply. Failure to meet the required grades of the
program means disqualification from its application.

implementation of Senior High School and have NOT yet proceeded to college.

These are
applicants who started their tertiary education from non-CTU campuses and would
like to transfer in CTU including those applicants who finished vocational or
certificate courses. They must meet the minimum residency of 2 years before
graduation from the university.

Alternative
Learning System (ALS) Passers
These are
applicants who passed the Alternative Learning System (ALS) before 2018 or
before the implementation of the Senior High School and have NOT yet proceeded
to college. These are those students who graduated from ALS Senior High School
and are eligible to college. ALS Passers from 2019 onwards must go through
Senior High School. ALS Examination Rating (rating should meet the program
grade requirement)

ALS
Examination Rating. Certificate of Rating must indicate the year the applicant
has passed the ALS with remarks, “Eligible for College”. The average percentile
score in the ALS Examination Rating must meet the required General Weighted
Average (GWA) of the program.

Certificate
of Good Moral Character with school seal issued from last school attended
signed by the Registrar or any authorized school personnel.
·
Recent
2x2 colored picture with white background and name tag (must be unfiltered or

Testing

Second
Courser
These are
applicants who previously who previously finished a college degree program from
CTU or other universities and would like to take another undergraduate program
in the university. They are NOT covered by the Free Higher Education (FHE)
scholarship program.

Original
of Transcript of Records (TOR) signed by the Registrar or any authorized school
personnel with remarks, “For Evaluation”. Evaluation of grades is by semester.
·
Certificate
of Good Moral Character with school seal issued from last school attended
signed by the Registrar or any authorized school personnel
·
Recent 2x2 colored picture with white
background and name tag (must be unfiltered or raw photo)
·
Testing
fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Testing fee is to be paid personally at the campus
Cashier’s Office. Applicant must upload the testing fee official receipt in
JPEG file in the Admission Portal.
Board Program

Program – Php 300.00
Applicants
under the following categories are NOT required to undergo the admission
process and will automatically proceed to the program they wish to apply for
evaluation:
- Returnees
- Transferees from
other CTU campuses (satellite or extension)
- Shifters to other
programs
Affirmative Action Program for College Admission
The Affirmative Action Program for College Admission
aims to give priority to disadvantaged but deserving students to increase the
chances of being admitted in the university to pursue their college
education. They are applicants coming from the marginalized population
such as indigents, members of cultural minority groups, solo parents and their
children, ALS passers, PWD and top 10 senior high school graduates from public
schools. These applicants are to undergo the usual admission process
(e.g., online application, online entrance exam and interview) and be subjected
to the screening, grade requirements and ranking of the program. Aside
from the documentary requirements being asked according to their applicant
category (e.g., senior high school graduating student, transferee, etc.), they
are to upload the additional documentary requirement/s indicated below to be
considered as an AAP applicant.
Indigent Applicant/ Disadvantaged Student/ Member of
4Ps
These refer to student-applicants whose combined
annual family income do not exceed ₱300,000 a year or whose family is a member
of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps). Upload any one of the
following document:

Certificate of Tax
Exemption from BIR/ Affidavit of No Taxable Income; OR
·
Latest copy of Annual
Income Tax Return (combined annual gross income of their parents or guardian do
not exceed ₱300,000.00); OR
·
Endorsement from DSWD
that the family belong to the low-income group; OR
·
4Ps ID or Certification
from DSWD (for Member of 4Ps)
Member of an Indigenous Cultural Community (ICC) or
Indigenous People (IP)
These refer to student-applicants who are members to
Indigenous People (IP) groups in the country (e.g., Muslim, Badjao, Aeta,
etc.).
·
Certificate of Tribe
Membership, or any equivalent certification as belonging to indigenous
people/indigenous cultural community
Solo Parent and their children
Refers to student-applicants who are solo parent due
to death of spouse, legal separation, annulment, unmarried with children and
abandonment including their children of solo parents applying for admission in
the university.
·
Solo Parent ID (if the
parent himself/ herself is the applicant)
·
PSA Birth Certificate
and Solo Parent ID (if the applicant is a child of solo parent)
Students with Special Needs and other Types of
Disabilities
Refers to those student-applicants who have disability
in terms of physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more
psychological, physiological or anatomical function of an individual.
·
PWD Identification Card
SHS Top Ten of the Graduating Class from Public
Schools
Refer to the top ten graduates of Grade 12 Senior High
School from public schools with a graduating class size of not less than 500.
·
Certification from the
public high school, duly signed by the school principal, indicating that the
applicant is one of the Top 10 students of the graduating class. The rank
of the applicant and total number of the graduates must be indicated.
General Guidelines for Admission Application
1. All documentary requirements must be uploaded
in the admission portal in JPEG, PNG or PDF format. The files should be
in clear resolution and that the document/s written information must be
readable with no erasures.
2. No walk-in submission of documentary requirements
and do not send them in the admissions email.
3. The uploaded documentary requirements are for
admission screening purposes only. Original hardcopies of these documents
will be submitted through courier or personally once you are qualified to
enroll.
4. Documents must be clear, readable and uploaded with
correct file name following this format, name of file_full name (e.g.,
Grade12ReportCard_JosephSantos). File name must not exceed 100 characters and
no space in between to be accepted by the system.
5. Multiple applications are not allowed and
subject for disqualification. There should only be one (1) admission
application across all CTU Campuses. Application is transferrable to other
programs or CTU campus.
